3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500mL bottle. Poured a fairly eerie shade of bright golden with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up lime, salt, and a bit of spruce over sour wheat and a bit of sourdough bread.. well-presented. The flavor found moderately-sour lime and wheat throughout.. accents of spruce and earth.. dry, lightly-sour lime and spruce on the refreshing finish. Light-bodied with low carbonation.. really good stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
appearance: cloudy gold, short fizzy white head quickly fading. aroma: crackery, light funk, saltwater, lemongrass, hint of mint from the spruce. taste: very slight tartness, some salty funk, lemon and lime, hint of pear. finish: clean and short, with lingering fruity sweetness and mint . notes: I like spruce in a gose, keeps things fresh-feeling and pairs nicely with the funk. Would have liked a tad more tartness to this one, but it was still nice. Vertical with Zoltan, including the rhubarb and quince versions. Knightly Spirits, Disney 2016.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lemon-lime nose. Clear amber, thick sticky head, crusty bits on the opening of the bottle. Lemon-lime, not very tart, fairly neutral, spruce. Medium body, soft carbonation. I had a berliner weisse with rye recently that was delicious. This is similar, but less tart. I think it works better without the neutralizing salt, but this was good.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Domagoj, thanks! Clear golden coloured, small white head, mild spicy nose. Sweetish malty, light spicy, notes of lemon and salt with touch of something (probably spruce needles) in the finish. No real Gose character.

Semmi hab, narancsba hajló borostyán szín. Illata halovány, malátás, enyhén korianderes. Savanyú, korianderes, sós és valami meghatározhatatlan (gondolom a fenyőtű) ízkomponens, közepes szénsavval. Finom, közepesen testes, igazi frissítő.

Aroma: salty gose aroma; a bit wheaty but not getting spruce; Appearance: hazy golden pour with thin white head that dissipates immediately; Taste: pretty standard gose; fairly refreshing but nothing special; Palate: light bodied with salty finish; Overall: just fine. Probably wouldn’t buy again, but would drink again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Aroma is heavy wheat, lemon juice and very mild spruce. Tastes the same. Medium to full body. Very little salt and spruce. Not bad but kinda boring.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear brilliant deep golden with a thin white cap. Amazing floral aroma with a load of orange rind and dry Belgian funk. Dry and earthy biscuity flavor with a nice floral funkiness underneath, some coriander, and a little dusty and sharp. Really intricate, delicate yet bold, and I can’t get over this floral/coriander undertone. It’s great.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle. Lightly hazy golden with one finger head. Sometimes I really struggle to describe a beer, and this would definitely be one of those times. Fairly light body. A bit of tartness, but not enough to be a considered a sour. If I didn’t know there was spruce here, I’d really be confused. It’s a strange (but enjoyable) flavor, especially within the context of the overall beer. I enjoyed this -- very unique.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Whole Foods in Sugar Land. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild aroma of wheat with maybe a hint of spruce. Taste is slightly brined grain with a faint touch of sourness. Light bodied, lightly carbonated, and slick. Ok, but really not a whole lot going on.
