COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like Freigeist Abraxas, it’s also inspired by the style Lichtenhainer, but this version is stronger (6% alc.) and contains more lactic sourness. Brewed until 2012 at Braustelle (375 ml bottle), from 2013 at Göller in Zeil (330 ml bottle).

Golden yellow colour. Modest head. Bacon, smoked sausages, smoke itself in the aroma. Bacin at first. Smokiness. Slught sweetness in the middle. Smoke and bacon again in the end. Lots of smoke. Slight saltiness in the aftertaste. Low carbonated, rather medium bodied, freaky beer. Freaky could be positive or negative and depends on purely preferences of the style.

Pours a golden yellow color with big fluffy head. Aromas of light hay, some funk, and a sour light fruit. Starts a little sweet then goes salty tart and finishes with a grassy tail.

Tolle Geschichte.

Bottle. Poured a murky ruddy amber color with not much head. Aroma of smoke, peat, with hint of meat and wheat. Smoky and smooth; some sweetness and sour notes in the finish. Found it pretty darn easy to drink.

glennmastrange (2570) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Bottle. Moderate light bread and grain for the malt, faint lemon peel for the hops, light dried leaves for the yeast, with just a hint of smokiness. Head is small, fizzy, white with some slippery lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Color is clear medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic slightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a soft carbonation. Less tart than I expected, but this Lichtenhainer is crisp and smooth at the same time.

Cloudy, golden color. Medium-sized, white head Aroma of smoked ham and wheat malt with hint of yeasty fruitiness . Smoky and sweet taste , balanced by gentle lactic acidity . Refreshing and easy to drink.
