Woodshed 2.0. Bottle pours with a deep darkness that supports a mocha colored head of foam. The modest aroma offers up dark roasted malts, black strap molasses, slivers of earthy malts and then a chocolate brownie sensation. The taste delivers sweetness heading into dark roasted malts and a bit of tartness. It later picks up additional sourness and chocolate brownie. Interesting and likely a bit beyond its prime.

Very dark pour, tan head. Flavor is ashy, dry, licorice, ashphalt, charred wood. Its good, but I was hoping for more.

Bottle shared by Ibrew2or3 @ Woodshed 2.0! This one has a label more interesting than the beer itself. Lots of peat, smoke, vanilla, cocoa, dark fruit, and coffee. Slick mouthfeel that coats the palate.

Bottle. Very dark. Strong liquorice aroma. Oily. The vanilla fills in the blanks, making a more interesting a nd in a way a more balanced beer than the ordinary version.

Pitch black color with medium sized brownish head, creamy. The aroma is intriguing, with chocolate, whiskey, talc and perfume, tobacco, some oak. Smooth mouthfeel, but the body is slimmer than expected; some flavor of roasted malt, missing chocolate, low residual sweetness, and a mild tobacco character; there is a light sourness that is not fitting; ordinary bitterness, with some pleasant alcohol warmth.
The tobacco vein is nice, more body would be better.

Bottle. Black in colour with frothy tan head. Dark chocolate, some vanilla, burn wood in aroma. Flavour bit similar with some sweet chocolate and vanilla mostly.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and vanilla flavor. Roasted malty slightly sour chocolate and vanilla flavor. Has a roasted malty sour vanilla finish.

questa imperial stout invecchiata in barile è una vera e propria delizia per finire la serata con qualcosa di speciale.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Pitch black color, no head, only a slight light brown lacing. Smell malts, slightly roasty, hint of wood. Taste malts, roastyness, bitter, but no vanilla. Very nice mouthfeel. Thick, oily texture. Medium carbo, full body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Pitch black, opaque colour with no head. Smells dark chocolate, roasty, bitter, some hops. Tastes dark chocolate, wood, some liquor, sweet, raisins. No carbo, very thick and silky body.
