   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 9/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 18/20
beerism (9) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2015 does not count
Very typical in its style: quince notes (both in the nose and on the palate). Pretty sour appearance in the mouth with quinces and citrus, but even a small hint of sweetness (quince-jelly), than all of a sudden the whole thing turns to get quite dry with a slight to medium touch of saltiness. The ending isn’t too long, but can it be with only 5.2% (or even: should it be?). I really liked this one even it’s still cool outside (means it isn’t really the right season to enjoy a Gose) and I loved the quincy notes in it (often you drink beers with the weirdest ingredients, but you don’t even notice them). A fine one!

Bottle on the train from Pasing to Augsburg, from Liebick Getranke, 06/02/15. Clear golden with an off white covering that dissipates then retains. Nose is light citric peel, lemon rind, herbal notes, straw, spice, balsa wood. Taste comprises lemon rind, light salt licks, seaweed, damp straw, soured citric sherbets, hint of caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with tangy citrics and gentle puckering. Solid refreshment engine.

Willrunforbeer shared this 500 ml. Aroma is just as refreshing as the flavor. Great taste of light salt, straw/ wheat/ grain body with a refreshing light lemon toward the back end. Salt is a light character which I prefer. Highly drinkable and could be a fine summer quncher
