TEJA (1281) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2014
Semi lastning white head over a light opaque solid golden beer. The aroma is more like a saison than a gose with a tiny lactic acidity. The acidity is larger in the taste and fresh with a medium body. God summer beer.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle (not sure how Quitte comes into the name, but identical bottle shown in the picture) poured into a glass. Pours hazy light orange with small off-white head. Aroma is light tart, light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is malt, fruity, tartness, and some spruce. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours yellow white head. Aroma is musty, fruity, berries. Taste is light, a bit week, definitely a little mustiness going on, a bit flat. Overall, okay.

Hazy blonde, wheaty aroma with hints of lacto. Fruity, herbal - touch of spruce - dash of lacto and some wheaty acidity and light pale malt sweetness.

Bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours hazy yellow orange with rapidly settling white head. Almost no lacing. Aroma is citrus, funky, lightly acidic, coriander. Flavor is citrus, moderate coriander, slightly tart, with a wheaty finish. Soft carbonation, medium body, and chewy texture. Light, refreshing and drinkable.

Pale yellow with a small pale head. Aroma is grass, flowers, wet hay, hint of cheese. Light bodied, well balanced on the palate with a hint of salt on the finish. Taste is salt, spruce, peach stone.

Bottle: straw colour, hazy, pours with this head and then dissipates with weak lace. Wet hair, dank lees, pale grain, citrus and slight sour note. Dry, slightly sour palate and low bitterness. Fresh palate and nice long flavor. Medium to light weight. Quenching. Rustic. Moderate carbonation.

Love the old time feel of the black and white photo on the label. Pours a hazy light yellow color. This is one of my favorite styles. Has a light tart note in the aroma along with a slight woodsy tinge to it. Sweet tart is what first comes to my mind because the taste is light lemonade. There is an acidic burst that flames out but is quite nice. The bottle was gone very, very fast.

Gerbeer (1724) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 4, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours clear straw color with moderate head. Aromas of wet wool, cereal, and light citrus. Flavors of lemons, ginger, and sharp sap/ resin. It’s got the salt. Interesting but not a repeat.
