3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap. Not quite a typical Gose, makes me think smaller brewers feel their customers want the oddest additional ingredients possible. Maybe they do. The rhubarb in this case does not bring anything special to the tap. OK, but this is meant more pejoratively than usual. Where can this trend end?

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
appearance: cloudy gold, short fizzy white head quickly fading. aroma: slightly sour, funky, earthy, light raspberry (is that the rhubarb?). taste: light sourness and tartness up front, with earthy stone fruit and jammy notes I’ll guess is the rhubarb, with just a hint of funk and saltwater. finish: slight cracker note, hint of tartness, dry. notes: Not bad. Creative take on the style. Vertical including the spruce and quince versions. Knightly Spirits, Disney 2016.

Ma Che, Rome. Creamy foam on clear gold. Robust fruity and earth. Pie sweetness, raspberry lemonade. Gose more muted. Clean, sharp flavor. A little soap, tart red fruit and lemonade. Refreshing, sharp, drinkable. Lots of ginger too, per Alberto’s notes.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle sampled at Classic City Brewfest 2016. Pours a hazy golden yellow with fluffy white head that leaves light lace. Aroma and taste of light sweet fruitiness, a very mild sour, earthy salty undertones. Solid, but American fruited gose is far better than this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lime nose. Hazy amber, thick yellow head, nice lacing. Briney overripe grapefruit and lemon. Lime accents. Medium body, soft carbonation. A little saltier and funkier than I like, but still super refreshing and enjoyable.

Pale yellow colour. No head. Quite pleasent rhabarber in the aroma. Rhabarber also in first taste. Slightly sweet. Slighly sour in the middle. Rhabarber notes in the end. Somehow the rhabarber is there, but still it is not so powerful as on would expect. There could be also more sourness. Quite low carbonated, light bodied, quite reasonable drink.
