UPDATED: DEC 15, 2013 33 cl. bottle @ Braustelle. Man, a Gose made with Hibiscus in Germany, I love this place. Pours a hazy reddish pink with a bright pink head. Nose is chockfull of raspberries, very fruity, some berries with some flowers, absolutely lovely. Taste is faintly funky, touch fermenting raspberries & red berries, flowers, light cranberry etc. light herbs, light wheat & citrus, faint cherries. Lively body. Lovely brew.

Draft. Freigeist Hibiskus. Mahogony beer with a cream head. Light floral and light spice aroma. Malt and light tart flavor with light floral notes and light caramel. Medium bodied. Malt/caramel lingers with light tartness and light floral notes.

Pours a lovely reddish/pink. You really get the wine barrel aroma and taste. A bit of tannic notes in there. The hibiscus plays second fiddle which is good because it can take over a beer.

Sampled at Braukunst Live 2013. Straw wheaty aroma, light fruit. Murky red orange, white lace. Straw malt base, restrained sourness. Chewy, dry. Salty metallic fruit finish. Needs more time I think.

Tap @ Churchkey. The pour’s reddish pink with a small head. The nose is herbal funk. Unwashed garden vegetables. Some berries, bramble, strawberry tart. The taste is tangy berry, sharp citric underarm funk. Light cheese and mineral. Salty brine. Nice and light body, fine carbonation. Overall, pretty delicious.
