Small, off-white rim over hazed, burgundy beer with a foxy sheen. Very perfumed; red berries and an addition of rosemary or lavender. I would suggest red lingonberries, but more perfumed, in a nice way. Taste, however, is too perfumed, very spcied - rosemary. Again fruity, but less easy to specify. Finish is piney, cypress, bitterish-spicy. Velvety MF, but with a harsh finish. Aftertaste is more balanced, but still too perfumed. Strange, weird, overperfumed - but it is audacious and that deserves points as well.

Zu Beginn sind starke Rosmarinnoten offensichtlich, die auch im weiteren Verlauf eine übergeordnete Rolle spielen. Geringe Säuerlichkeit. Diese ist aber eher untergeordnet und passt gut. Etwas herb. Vollmundig, trocken fruchtiges Finish. 8/12/12/14/11/13

37,5cl bottle @Pikkulintu. Poured dark amber with a thin head. Rosemary, thyme, floral aroma. Flavor is thyme and blueberry as well as some other spices. Dry finish. Quite a mishmash, not sure if I liked this or not.

Stor tydlig doft av rosmarin och enbär Mycket syrlig, speciell smak. Stora kryddiga toner, mycket citrus, tydlig sötma. God men mycket speciell

Bottle from Bierland in Hamburg. Dark amber with a small head. The aroma was really special with rosmarin, perfume, wood, malt and something sweet like honey. The taste was on the sweet side with spices, particularly oregano. A strange beer but I must say that I liked it.

37.5cl bottle from Alvinne beershop. BB 03-2012 Couleur acajou présentant un léger trouble, col ocre/beige. Arôme est aromatique avec une pointe épice et herbacé de romarin. En arrière, une note de houblon rappelant la citronnelle le tout sur un aspect boisée de copeaux de chêne rappelant un cabernet blanc qui s’accompagne d’une note de vanille. Bouquet est original et bien balancé. Garde ce petit côté organique de miel avec une fraicheur de tonneau et de bois. En bouche, même plaisir à déguster. D’ailleurs, cette bière se boit lentement, et laisse apprécier les nombreuses saveurs qui viennent se développer au palais. Je note une fine note aigre de boise et chêne, légère douceur de miel et aromatique venant du romarin qui donne un léger profile médicinal (léger picotements) avec des note de citronnelle très fraîches. Le miel donne un palais épais et organique et l’usage de chêne fait penser a du cabernet. Garde ce profile aigre-doux balancé par la miel, le tout avec ce profile de romarin et de chêne somptueux.

Bottle from Bierkompass. Hazy amber color with medium white head. Aroma, lemon, caramel, some wood, clove. Taste, strong in lemon, maybe some vanilla, cinnamon. spicy, bitter finish. Interesting, but not for everyday drinking.

Im Duft rosmarinig-süßlich, entspannt. Antrunk meditinisch-süß auf Rosmarinbasis. Ab der Mitte dann röstig und cognacartige Noten welche passend von Rosmarin unterlegt sind. Abgangs malzig-röstig, weinbrandartig und hintergründig scharfwürzige Rosmarinnoten als Gegenstück - ein geglücktes Ensemble. Ausbalanciert, vielschichtiger und ohne die extreme Rosmarinnote des "normalen" Woodhouse. Wow!Test vom 2.4.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche

75cl bottle shared with friends. Hazy amber pour. Very little head. An odd beer slightly sour, slightly sweet but refreshing and interesting. A nice surprise

Bottle. Amber, cloudy, no head. Moderate, fruity and sourish aroma, vanilla, berries with floral spiciness. Body is medium, fruity and dryish sour flavor, vanilla with red berries, floral spiciness. Finish is average, fruity and sourish, dry, some vanilla with red berries. Interesting, but too much floral perfume like spiciness.
