500ml bottle pours a murky amber brown color with no head and very little lacing. Aroma is dominated by raspberry with some other dark fruits and mild chocolate. Taste is a raspberry tartness with a dark fruity and malty sweetness with some light roasted notes. Light to medium bodied with mild carbonation. A decent enough brew, interesting and as advertised a sour porter. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle at Wreckmeister’s balcony, Vienna, 25.7.2015. Thanks Wreckmeister. Muddy brown-red with a smal, white foamy-bubbly head. Cocoa, a little coconut and vanilla aroma, some soft roastiness too. Tastes mildly sour, raspberries, then more sourness. Full body, astringent, sourish finish.

The beer pours a dark leather brown, with a thin off-white head. The beer smells of chocolate and malt, with some hops and subtle berries in the background. The body is full, coating the whole tongue with little carbonation. At first you’re hit with the taste of chocolate and malts, but then some sourness and a lot of tartness from the raspberries become more prominent towards the end. Definitely a sipping beer.

Sourish malty body. Fresh, hints of raspberry in the body, that becomes more intense and round in the end. Sourish fresh, malty-sour, raspberry dark. Hints of sourish fruity roast in the aftertaste. Nice.

500ml bottle at home from trade with Erzengel, many thanks. Shared with kerenmk. Bottle without any label with a handwritten note saying the beer name. brownish color, small off-white head. smells of malty roast, lightly sour, light funk, herbal, smells a bit dusty. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly sour, some caramel, very light roast note, lightly fruity, raspberry, citric, lightly acidic, hints of salt, light wood note. finishes with fruity and sour / acidic notes. quite nice, lovely fruity notes, I also quite like the combination of the sourish notes with the malt backbone. good stuff.

Na, so etwas gefällt mir doch gut !

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a deep dark ruby-blackish colour with a steady, small head and medium body. Aroma of sour malt, torf and raspberries. Taste of roasted malt, peat, sour, unripe raspberries, torf, peat, berries, acid and light juice. Intense, sour finish. Enjoyed it.
