It’s unclear dark orange-golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, banana and wheat. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, banana and a touch of other fruit, wheat, and the finish is spicy.

Pours slightly hazy with a frothy white head. Wheat, banana and clove. The mouthfeel is smooth and I liked the spicy notes here.

Test vom 11.12.2010 Noten: 9,9,9,8,10,9 - 8,90

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.

Murky medium orange color with grey notes, a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana - orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long to average duration, fruity, citrus acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy amber with a dense and frothy white head. Sweet banana nose with some yeast. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and a low carbonation. Again banana and yeast with a slight phenollic touch in the finish. 151010

Bottle, 5.1%. Weak banana aroma. Hazy dark orange colour. OK stable white head. The flavour is quite subtle, a little banana, OK sweetness. Hint of plastic, but OK clean for a Hefeweizen.

MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUL 31, 2008
(swing top bottle) Cloudy, bright orange colour with a big and lacy, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and yeasty wheat-malty aroma with moderately fruity notes of banana and noticeable phenolic spices of cloves and nutmeg. Sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Good wheat-character, moderately yeasty fruity taste; upcoming spices towards the finish. Well-balanced stuff (31.07.08).

Swing-top bottle. Sweet banana-peach and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. Sweet banana, orange, peach, clove and wheat malt flavor. Mild metallc finish is the only negative here. Very nice Hefe.

Bügerverschlußflasche (Vielen Dank, Jonas !): Cloudy, orangey-amber coloured, smaller, quite stable fluffy off-white head; wheat, cloves and bananas in the quite spicy nose; robust bitter-sweet-tart flavour, medium bodied, mellow MF; wheaty-sweetish finish with a light tartness in the very end. A tasty, spicy Weizen, can’t believe it, that this beer was really made by Brauerei Schimpfle............
