Siphon enjoyed with Benzym himself, pours dark golden with a rich and lasting white head, delicate grassy, earthy hop aroma above a subtle malty base. Rather sweet mouthfeel with a very fine balanced fresh hopyness. A perfect Kølsch with a drinkability that is out of this world

Herb geprägter Antrunk, in dem noch eine milde Fruchtigkeit einsetzt. Dann schnell trocken, was im Verlauf auch bleibt. Der Hopfen sticht dann hervor, wenn auch nicht sehr stark. Zum Ende trocken getreidig. 11/8/9/8//8

(draught at Festival der Bierkulturen, Köln) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Discreetly malt aroma, slightly dusty and subtle pear-fruity nose. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Slim pale malty base, slightly dusty taste with herbal accents; dry and slightly fruity finish with shy grassy and herbal hops in the background. Average Kölsch. 16.V.10

Draught @ Festival der Bierkulturen. Pour a clear gold, decent sized white head. Lasted around with medium lacing. Nose was grains, grassy notes, some hay. Taste is roughly the same, with some subtle notes of citrus and light-medium body with a slightly creamy finish with faint bitters. not bad.

Draught at Festival der Bierkulturen, Köln: Pale greenish-golden, almost clear; grainy-strawy nose with a light acidic-fruity touch; light bitter-sourish flavour, not light bodied, but watery; faint hops in the watery fruity-sourish finish. Not a necessary brew.......

Clear light to medium yellow color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20100515]

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hints of diacetyl, malt and caramel. Flavour had toasted malt, caramel, hints of hops and diacetyl. Sorry to say it, but the butter came through here. Finished somewhat dry.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is caramelish and light grassy hoppy. Bitter and mild citrusy flavoured. Crisp grassy and citrusy hoppy and dry finish.
