Draught at the brewpub. Plasticky aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small but stable white head. I thought this was a wheat beer when I tasted it. Very banana-like flavour. Some yeast notes. Slightly watery.

Zusammengefasst; sehr erfrischend.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2011
Nett! 9/8/8/8//8

0.5 l bottle (as Bräuhaus Naturfrisches Kellerbier 5.6 %), thanks Timo A! Very hazy deep yellow color. Tart lemony aroma with some sweetness also. Tart and bready and grainy flavor with lemony and grapefruity tartness in finish.

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Yeasty aroma with some banana note, handmade aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is pretty much similar with yeast and banana, aftertaste dries with decent hops.

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big but not very persistent foamy white head. Yeasty and moderately sweet barley-malty nose with discreet but spicy hops. Sweet malty flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly yeasty and grainy, also a bit worty malty taste; sweet malt-accented finish with very shy hoppy notes. 04.VIII.08

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 24, 2010
bottle, courtesy of joss. Cloudy pale yellow, large white head. Aroma strongly reminding of a Hefeweizen - very fruity and yeasty. Full-bodied, yeasty and malty. Tastes very much like a Hefeweizen, which I didn’t expect from a Kellerbier. Nevertheless, a very nice beer.

(bottle) pours a very hazy yellow colour with a huge frothy white head and great lacing. aroma of yeast, with notes of herbal hops, earth and a light spicy fruitiness, almost like a wit. flavour is mostly grains with herbal hops and a little yeast. medium, lightly sweet body with smooth carbonation.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of joss. Wait a minute- my version was 5.6 ABV. Extremely murky lactic pale yellow. Boiled milk, diacetyl and caramel in the nose. The taste was a bit like a beligan wit. A lot of caramel showing up. Rather sour. Sweet finish which is reminiscent of coriander and orange peel. Strange. Thanks a lot joss!

Bottle (thanx to joss !): Big fluffy, but stable white head, cloudy, pale golden; yeasty, sweetish-fruity nose with traces of tobacco (?); creamy MF, sweetish-bitter flavour; medical traces in the sweetish-bitter finish. O.K., but nothing more..........
