COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hellgolden im Glanz vermittelt das Freistädter Märzen mit seinen vordergründigen Malzaromen und der zarten Hopfennote einen unkomplizierten, dem Gaumen entgegenkommenden Geschmack.

MoritzF (7350) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2009
(bottle) Almost clear, golden coloured hue with a lacing, slightly off-white foamy head. Light-sweet pale malty aroma with shy woody hoppy notes. Delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malt accented, slightly chalky taste with herbal notes. Quite dry and moderately bitter finish with a herbal hoppy touch. Unspectacular but also quite rounded brew (26.XI.08).

Bottle, kindly delivered by Quack-Duck. A bit unclear, golden coloured with a mid-sized, quite stable, lacy head. Grainy-strawy nose. Light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied. Becomes drier and hoppier towards the end. O.K., but nothing special.....
