Pours a very dark brown/black with a dark tan head. The smell is dark malt, licorice, bourbon. The taste is big chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. The body is medium/full silly smooth with fine carbonation.

Draught. Pours a near black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is quite roasty with a fair amount of oats coming off it, and implying a slightly creamy sweetness as well. Taste was sweet with slight bits of vanilla in there for me, and roasty throughout. Nice and very smooth taste.

On tap at the brewery. Nitro!!!! Dark brown pour with light brown head. Dark roasted malt aromas. So smooth and creamy with dark roasted malts, oatmeal, and dark chocolate highlights. I know there’s no lactose, but the nitro tap just makes it so damn creamy. Very good...

Dark roasted and chocolate along with alcohol. Dry and not too sweet with bitter chocolate. Awesome brew. Alc content is noticeable but by no means overbearing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Dark brown with a brown head. Nice oatmeal and roasted hop profile, some bittersweet chocolate. Moderate+ carbonation, moderate body, becomes more bitter as it goes through the palate, easy to drink and reasonably well balanced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pitch black and oily but bot viscous in texture pours with a sizable head
Nose is weak with a hint of roast and dark chocolate taste is interesting. It’s a very toasty stout, not warming but no barley additions were spared. I get some creaminess from the oatmeal, pretty high bitterness. Drinks close so a Sam smiths oatmeal stout plus some added booziness. It’s lacking something.

Not much on the nose, and not much head. Otherwise a blockbuster. Some bourbon notes, so I assume this was aged in barrels? Not sure about that. Coffee and roasty malts and a bit of cocoa. Thick and rich. Great stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
(draught at the brewery) near black pour, dark tan edge bubbles. Nose it’s meaty and smoky, malty chocolate, creamy, oats, raisins, complex. Taste is dry chocolate, oats, light smoke, bacon, Fairly rich, the body ias the best part of the beer, it’s creamy and thick with a nice finish. Nice beer.
