22 oz bomber. Pours a beautiful hazy golden color, with a pearly white head. Some lacing. Aroma is yeasty banana and clove. Flavor is a pleasant combination of bread and fruit, with cidery notes. The palate is lively, with a nice finish. Overall a great seasonal offering from my favorite Seattle brewery.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour, thick, lacy head. Aroma grass and cat piss. Flavor is crisp grain with a surprisingly bitter hop presence. Kind of odd, but it does not work for me. I won’t need to try this one again.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours orange gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of earth, fruit and citrus. And clove. Med body. Flavor is distinctly earthy, with light pitted fruit and citrus, followed by fairly insistent clove. Dry and crisp is a fair deScriptor. Drinks easy.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Served in a Mikasa tulip.
Pours a slightly-hazy golden-apricot color with a two-finger white head and some pretty sticky lacing on the way down. Nice collar throughout. The nose is full of wheat and some phenols; there’s a bit of pepper and some light fruit. The flavor is full of wheat and pepper plus some pear and other fruits. A bit of a cidery character as well. A bit heavy on the pepper and phenols. Medium body with a dry finish. Good carbonation. Pretty good, but not something I’d likely go back to.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. The pour is a hazed gold copper, along with a small off white head. The aroma is a pleasant soft yeastiness, hay, earth, light citrus clove. Taste is hay, earth, and a pretty strong yeast clove, and then opens up with some floral citrus bitter. Very dry finish. Palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, low carbonation level, and the dry flinty bitterish finish. Easy drinking beer, thanks for sending this my way Brandon.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle pours a golden orangeish color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts and some woody earthy hops with a hint of yeast. Taste is bold malty sweetness with a bit of earthy bitter hops and hints of yeast. Not sure what style to classify, but not like any saison I have ever tried. A unique and interesting ’harvest ale’ as it says on the bottle. Quite enjoyable.
