Our Fall seasonal. A French farmhouse-style saison brewed with Northwest hops. Harvest Ale is our offering for this time between here and there, a Fall beer with fruit and bread aromas and white wine notes reminiscent of apricots and apple. Harvest Ale finishes dry and crisp. Fall into a Harvest Ale today, you won’t be disappointed. Unfettered by spices.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color. Off dry pale ale, with some spicy yeast character, a bit soapy; correct bitterness.
Seems like a random attempt at Saisons.

Tap at Fremont, Seattle - 08/11/12. Clear pale golden with a thin white head that soon clears to the edge and forms a pond. Nose is pale malts, spice, cloves, pumpkiny/earthy tones, some light sourness. Taste follows, slightly tarte, earthy fruit tones, apples, light caramel. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a light bitter finish. Decent.

On tap at Fremont, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite floral and perfumey, with a paint thinner like hoppiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with perfume, paint thinner and floral hoppiness. Yuck, not sure what they are going for here. Like a cosmetic department.

Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours orange gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of earth, fruit and citrus. And clove. Med body. Flavor is distinctly earthy, with light pitted fruit and citrus, followed by fairly insistent clove. Dry and crisp is a fair descriptor. Drinks easy.

Not the freshest, but not bad either. Bready, VERY light hops (hints of citrus and pine) and some dusty fruit notes on the nose and flavor. Likely past its prime and still enjoyable.

Can shared by Bob - thanks! Clear golden yellow pour with a small spotty head. Spicy yeast nose with apple. Crisp palate. I’m digging it.

22. Pours a hazy medium gold with a surging, settling white head that sticks around for a decent amount of time. Nice eggy lace. Big funky wet leaves nose. A bit phenolic. Watery medium body with light carb. Toast, wet leaves, and some mild artichoke notes on the mid palate. Tangy finish.

Bottle:   Straw colored, a little shade of orange thrown in, large frothy white head, fairly nice lacing, very light carbonation.   Nose is of very dull floral and soft pale fruit.   Similar tongue, pale fruit, a little mealy, with this very dull floral background.   Not quite sure what to make of this one, is it a Saison?   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, lingering mealiness and very soft pale fruit and dull floral notes.   Tiz okay, but doesn’t much remind me of Fall...
