COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Homefront IPA is an India Pale Ale summer IPA brewed with sweet orange peel and aged on the zest of fresh oranges in addition to maple bats donated by Louisville Slugger.Yes, we think it is a wonderful summer IPA and yes, the orange really does come through. And, yes, we are a little biased so why not try one for yourself and lift a glass to those who fight for us. And thanks.

Can. Eye catching can for sure. Pours dark gold with a really bitter aroma. A little off putting aroma but this beer tastes delicious so itís okay. Really nice orange flavor. Decently hoppy. I canít say I can tell this is aged on baseball bats, but I love baseball, and since I know itís there, itís cool. Overall, this is a great summer beer, especially when the baseball game is on. Good stuff.

Solid, well balanced IPA. Thereís nothing to dislike here. Nice malt flavor, nice hoppy flavor, and sufficient bitterness. This will not satisfy hop heads, and itís not overly unusual -- orange peel "hint" of flavor notwithstanding -- but it totally is good.

Can. Kick ass awesome patriotic can. 5 for appearance. ;) Orange peel is quite apparent in the aroma. Almost candy citrus aroma. Flavor doesnt depart far from Fremont classic tropical and citrus hops but there is a noticeable vanilla and woody taste. Is it just me or does the thought of drinking baseball bat beer off-putting? Overall another solid IPA from Fremont but with a slight twist to make it unique...and awesomely American. U!S!A! U!S!A!

Clear orange-brown out of the bottle, two fingers of foam with excellent staying power. Fragrant aroma, flowery, small amounts of pine. Flavor has more pine, orange zest bitterness, and prominent malt of the grain/bread variety. Solid effort.

Poured from draft at Pop in Seattle. Darker orange with white head. Not too much nose to it. Good citrus and pine balance. Slight bitter and hops and just an overAll easy drinker

Bottle split at Endoís, 26/05/13, cheers to Jim. Almost clear golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is hops, light floral notes, bitter orange, citrus. Taste comprises orange pith, light pine, citrus, hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light pine and hop bitterness at the curtain call. Solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours amber, copperish, white head, decent retention and irregular lacing. Aroma: citrus, candied orange, some wood, some pine. Taste: on the sweet side for an ipa - I'm repeating the candied orange impression, with some cotton candy thrown in. Nice lasting bitter finish. Thin texture, soft-to-average carb. Overall: despite what my description may imply, I think this overall comes out pretty well overall. Definitely happy to drink this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours hazy amber-orange with a large foamy off-white head and great lacing. smell is of hops, citrus, a touch of caramel, some floral whiffs, and a little grapefruit. taste is of grapefruit, lemon, a little pine, orange peel zest, and a bit of earth. ends bitter with lots of citrus notes.

22oz bomber pours clear copper with gold edges and sort of light tan head of foam. I smell a little tart to resin as well as vague hoppiness with mild malt sweetness around the edges. The taste begins with a firm sweet malt base but then slightly citrus notes and a resiny hoppiness seem to have no problem elbowing through the malt sweetness. I get a good dose of hop flavor and lesser amounts of resiny hop bitterness. Pretty nice brew.

22 oz. bottle shared by someone, I believe Paul, at our massive Hunahpuís tasting- thanks again! Pours a semi-cloudy gold color with a small off-white head. Notes of pale malts, grass, citrus, herbs, and nectar. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Solid IPA, but I liked the Homefronts from Cigar City and Perennial slightly more.
