Named after Fremont’s most famous outdoor sculpture, Waiting for the Interurban, Interurban India Pale Ale offers the adventurous beer lover a warm embrace of organic Gambrinus roasted pale malt swirled with a hand-selected blend of flavor malts and filled with the rich spice of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops. Interurban India Pale is a session beer, eminently drinkable throughout the year.

Sample from a can. Pale orange color, with a few bubbles. The nose is coriander, syrup, orange peel, and rose. Sweet up front, with a fair bitterness through the finish. Medium body, sticky, grainy, but a clean, crisp finish. Overall, this is a nice, complex, hoppy beer.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A big sweet herbal tea nose. The flavor is sweet toasted malt, lemons, zesty. Really tea like. Solid.

Tap. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small wispy white head. The nose is super dank with an aggressive hoppiness and a lighter caramel malt base. The flavor is like drinking hop juice. These hops are perhaps the dankest I’ve ever had. Not especially bitter, it’s all hop flavor. The light caramel malt base with a soft earthy finish really lets the hops shine. Light to medium bodied, the hops just cling to your teeth on the finish. Soft fizzy carbonation. Really interesting IPA, unique hop profile for sure, glad I got to try this at the source. Oddly, the deScription doesn’t sound a whole lot like what I had, but this rating is from a trip out west nearly 2 years ago in a notebook that I just found. Might have been a bit different in those days.

Can, thanks to Lectvay. Hazy dark orange with small foamy white head, faint floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, bitter citrus peel taste, peaches flavor, medium bitter finish. Smooth and easy to drink.

Can. Lovely fruit nose: peaches, oranges, even something close to melon, and spicy too. Biscuity malt. Cloudy golden orange, thick low head. Biscuity, fruity, a bit sweet. Rather light body. Quite nice. Peppery hop finish.

12oz can - nice appearance in my crystal Spiegelau IPA glass: clear liquid dark gold with a medium fluffy off white head that mostly dissipates. Off aroma - somewhat metallic, hint of orange zest and tropical fruit. A mouthful is a touch thin but has all the typical IPA components - pine, citrus, tropical notes and a touch of caramel malt. Meh

Thanks Fremont! Great Hop nose up front and a very flavorful Local IPA. Very well made, with good clarity and body.

6 pack cans. Pours clear orange. Ok aroma of hops. Really nice pine bitter flavor. Fresh flavor. Nice light balance of malt. One of best iPas I've had in a can. I would definitely buy a sixer of it was available in Cali or pa! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
