Named after Fremont’s most famous outdoor sculpture, Waiting for the Interurban, Interurban India Pale Ale offers the adventurous beer lover a warm embrace of organic Gambrinus roasted pale malt swirled with a hand-selected blend of flavor malts and filled with the rich spice of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops. Interurban India Pale is a session beer, eminently drinkable throughout the year.

12 oz can. Tasted on 4/4/15. Beer Courtesy of Espo. Could not tell how old this one was but didn't have a great aroma yo it & the taste was a little weak on hops. Overall ok for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Brouwers. Dark orange, small white head, boxes ticked. Aroma of Otto’s jacket and citrus pulp. Crisp, medium carb, juicy and oily mouthfeel. Big Cascade character, grapefruit and marmalade, pith and citrus skin. Good stuff.

Brilliant clear golden with a thin and sticky white head. Dank nose with a earthy, leafy, cannabis-ish nose with a fair dose of grapefruit rind. Big leafy and dank flavor with a little cracker backbone and a bitter somewhat citrusy tone. It ends a bit malty and crackery with a pleasing leafy/floral hop finish. Pretty nice as it warms. A bit bitter but complex

[3/2/15] Draught at Fremont Brewing in Seattle. Clear golden. Aroma of “green” hops, fruity and piney, with a light oniony note. Flavor has some chewy sweetish malt, “green” piney and fruity hops with a nice citric touch, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice stuff.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a golden orange color, with a slight haze, and a white head. Citrusy, caramel, pine, moderate sweetness, pineapple, bread, and some bitterness. Decent, but overall just another standard IPA.

Bottled on 08.21.14. Poured from a bomber into a tulip on 10.07.14. A: Grapefruit and pineapple. A: 3 1/2 finger head with an easy pour. See through golden orange body. T: Pineapple dominates. Honey, graham cracker, grapefruit, and orange are subtle. P: Creamy. Crisp on the back end. Light to medium mouthfeel. O: This one is very juicy. It’s a pineapple and honey bomb. It’s fantastic on its own, but it’s also interesting to try when Fremont puts it through a Randall.
