canned. Poured a hazy copper color with a big clumpy white head that lasted forever. The aroma is quite strong I could literally smell this from across the room. I get grapefruit and pine on the nose. The taste is more of the same, grapefruit in the forefront and pine playing second fiddle. The malt base is fairly neutral with a grainy quality. Palate is medium, finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent brew.

Sample from a can. Pale orange color, with a few bubbles. The nose is coriander, syrup, orange peel, and rose. Sweet up front, with a fair bitterness through the finish. Medium body, sticky, grainy, but a clean, crisp finish. Overall, this is a nice, complex, hoppy beer.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange color with a large white head. A big sweet herbal tea nose. The flavor is sweet toasted malt, lemons, zesty. Really tea like. Solid.

Tap. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small wispy white head. The nose is super dank with an aggressive hoppiness and a lighter caramel malt base. The flavor is like drinking hop juice. These hops are perhaps the dankest Iíve ever had. Not especially bitter, itís all hop flavor. The light caramel malt base with a soft earthy finish really lets the hops shine. Light to medium bodied, the hops just cling to your teeth on the finish. Soft fizzy carbonation. Really interesting IPA, unique hop profile for sure, glad I got to try this at the source. Oddly, the deScription doesnít sound a whole lot like what I had, but this rating is from a trip out west nearly 2 years ago in a notebook that I just found. Might have been a bit different in those days.

Can. Lovely fruit nose: peaches, oranges, even something close to melon, and spicy too. Biscuity malt. Cloudy golden orange, thick low head. Biscuity, fruity, a bit sweet. Rather light body. Quite nice. Peppery hop finish.
