COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after Fremont’s most famous outdoor sculpture, Waiting for the Interurban, Interurban India Pale Ale offers the adventurous beer lover a warm embrace of organic Gambrinus roasted pale malt swirled with a hand-selected blend of flavor malts and filled with the rich spice of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops. Interurban India Pale is a session beer, eminently drinkable throughout the year.

Can after Seattle Booze Cruise. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, grapefruit, hoppy aromas.

In the fucken can. Pours a golden orange appearance with a cream colored head. Piney, spicy hoppy nose. Light caramel, earthy. A bit dank. Spicy, herbal hoppy flavor. Pretty good.

Smells if grapefruit and lemon. Pours clear with a light tan head. Tastes of grapefruit peel and peppery, not sweet or malty. Medium to heavy body, lively carbonation, close to astringent. Nice beer overall, doesn't have the malt that other beers have, I found that this tastes on the citrus side of the hop spectrum but is just a little too bitter and one dimensional for my tastes.

On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Citrusy hop bouquet. Tropical fruit and citrus hop notes. Great balance with a sturdy malt backbone. Good body and mouthfeel. Impressive..

Draught @ Fremont Brewing, Seattle, WA

Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of citrus, caramely malts, grass and grapefruit. Taste is malty, sweet and stuffy with some citrus and grapefruit. Finish is sticky and sweetish with some hoppiness. A bit unbalanced.

Pours a deep orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus especially oranges. Taste is sweet malt upfront, bitter citrus with a malty finish. A bit too sweet for my liking but still a good ipa.

On tap at Seattle Tap Room in SeaTac. Good piney/resiny ipa. Body is slightly south of medium. Good, but not a standout

Solid malt forward IPA, with a nice touch of sweetness. Bitter, but mildly so. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber that I have no idea where from. A copper beer that has quite a bit of carbonation floating up. An off white head that is fluffy and has good retention. A pleasant citrus aroma is classic west coast IPA. The flavor is also citrus with a little pine and tropical fruit. Moderate bitterness. Malts are a little different and are caramel. A nice classic version.

Draft at the Seatac Seattle Taproom.

Amber pour, modest white head, good lacing. Spicy, floral hop nose. Citrus peel and pith drive the aroma, ample pine -- this is a classic c-hop profile. At 6.5% I wouldn’t call it a session beer -- maybe a PacNW session beer at best -- but it’s enjoyable enough to drink if now special enough to stand out from the day-to-day crowd of literally hundreds of c-hopped PacNW IPAs.
