Hazy dark amber color with ivory foam. Floral, spicy caramel, pit fruit aromas. Medium body. Sweet spicy caramel flavors with pit fruit, floral hoppage--good

On tap at Fremont. Pours a dark, murky brown, little to no head. Nose has a blend of rum and bourbon whiskey - like a spoonful of brown sugar in a shot of whiskey. Strong fruit contingent, as well. It’s hot, but shows lots of promise. Full flavor, with sugary dark fruits leading to a small hop burst, ending with roasty dark malts. Nowhere near their "Center of the Universe." I want it to mellow a bit, then try it again.

A: Poured a deep orangish color with good carbonation presenting a nice white cap S: Whoa. My table confirmed a smell like windex which masked almost everything else in the beer T: Yup, windex or some type of window or cleaning solution. The phenols in this beer kill it from the start. There eas a light citrus note blinded by this but it was damn near undrinkable and that is being kind. M: Sticky with a phenolic flavor to it O: Poor and undrinkable

Nose of sweet fruits raisins, caramel apples, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, sugar, spicy hops as well. Sweet nose but nice hop and alcohol notes as well. Pours dark auburn, nice off white head. Flavors of sweet brown bread, fruit cake, brown sugar, raisins, earthy spicy hops, pepper, alcohol. Big boozy bite in the finish. Sweet, dry, with a little lingering bitter and residual sugars coating the palate. Big bodied beer. Well done.

On tap. Pours a dark and obscure brown with a minimal off-white head. Boozy, malty, caramel aroma with what seems like some wood. Flavor is quite sweet, with dried fruit, cola, caramel, alcohol, and leather. Nice.
