12-oz can. Pours a hazy medium amber with a gigantic white sudsy head. Big fresh pine and a bit of grapefruit on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty light caramel with pine and grapefruit on the mid palate. Long dry finish. Very nice.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2015 This deserves a bump. It took me awhile to get this, but but after a few hotter than usual Seattle months and some harder than usual workouts, it clicked. I’ve been crushing the hell out of these this summer, and once this 6-pack is gone I’m picking up another.

[4/8/2013] Can. Pours clear, straw colored golden with white head that dissipates fast. Fresh, weedy hop aroma, with tropical citrus, dank, and spicy bread/biscuit. Pizza crust - there’s a smell reminiscent of pizza dough I swear. Taste of grass/hay, wheat, dry graininess, biscuit, cracker. Short finish with crisp, light bitterness to seal the deal. Pretty dry overall. Pizza crust is still there. Lively carbonation, light body, texture a little on the thin side. (7/3/7/3/14) Overall: Refreshing, thirst-quenching and and drinkable. Nice. Makes me wish I had a lawn to mow.

Serving: from tap at Smarty Pants. Aroma: lightly piney hoppy. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: moderately bitter initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: excellent. Very light hoppy aroma and the taste was not overwhelmingly bitter. I would certainly drink this again.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this can. It is being reviewed from notes and was drank fresh. Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong pine, pineapple and biscuit malt notes. The flavor is full of pine, biscuit malt, orange citrus and some low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

can from Lets Pour, pale golden straw color. one finger head and decent lacing. hop forward aroma 7+, lots of lemon peel & pith. Citrus hop flavor, citrus zest, pith, lemon, grapefruit & orange notes. Quite bitter @ 4.5%, tastes like a much higher ABV APA. Pretty good

Can. Golden color and little head. Pleasant and full grassy and grapefruit aroma. Upfront this is delightfully hoppy and malty. However, the flavor quickly disappears and finishes with grassy bitterness. Still a refreshing and great sessionable hoppy offering.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours bright golden yellow with thin white head that lingers well. Aroma is slightly spicy fresh hops. Taste is crisp dry malt with earthy grassy bitter hops. Body is a little thin, but it doesn’t taste like a 4% beer. This would be perfect on a hot summer day. Certainly a departure from past SBW beers.

On tap pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, and tropical. Tastes of all the same things with a pretty good hop bite. Mouthfeel is pretty light with good carbonation. This was a good and hoppy session pale ale. Could probably drink 3 or 4 pints of this no problem.
