2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
An American Pale Ale that barely tilts the scales at 5.2% alcohol. Not worth the price.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On Tap at Growler Guys Meridian. Lightly hazy dull golden with thin white head and sturdy even lacing. Classic dry bright citrus pith hop aroma. I swear though, I am getting some pepper in the flavor. Jalapenos maybe.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy golden with a medium Rocky white head. Lovely nose of bitter orange peel and floral hop resins, and also a touch of tangerine nectar. Crisp and dry flavor full of dried tangerines and pithy orange peel, only a little bit of orange sweetness, and a floral bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Grunt fill from Winco. Perfect beer to relax with after a day of yard work. Mildly hazy, medium gold body with frothy airy head which dissipates quickly. Up front grainy aroma, grain also features in the taste, not hoppy at all. Mild for an APA, ID land this one in the center of a triangle between APA, lager and pils.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours bright gold yellow with small white had. Strong citrus hops smell. Taste is very floral cut with light biscuit-like malt. Lots of grapefruit. Nicely crisp in the mouth. Easily drinkable and a nice choice come summer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Pours a clear bright yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is light crackery malt with a nice floral hoppiness. The flavor is pretty nice, decent hop flavor without being overly bitter. Very light crackery malt base, lingering floral hops. Light bodied, fizzy, very drinkable, with a nice refreshing hoppy finish. Pretty nice beer, simple and straight forward, more character than I was expecting.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at Chippy’s, 11/7/15.
My first Fremont beer of the trip and near the end of it. Kind of surprised this stuff isn’t more readily available throughout the city.
Gentle haze to this tangerine-colored liquid with a wispy white head that is moderately well-retained.
Cantaloupe, meyer lemon and soft, easygoing floral notes. Bright, unadulterated amarillo, with light honey notes from the pale malts in the background. Very sniffable and fresh with no flaw or alcohol.
Wow, I had no idea what to expect from this, but certainly wasn’t expecting a single-hopped pale ale with this much flavor. Melon and easygoing citrus in the flavor is phenomenally well-done. Very low on the bitterness with no sign of any flaws from old/bad hops. Soft/supple texture shows well-attenuated but still supportive maltiness. Low sweetness, no alcohol or flaw. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good amarillo hopped beer and I was more than happy to find this. Nothing fancy or flashy here, just well-made. My type of stuff.
