Tangerine flower in a glass, endless days distilled into nectar of barley and hops. One grain, one hop. Simplicity….yet, so much more.

Tangerines, citrus, bread. Pours a golden straw color with a dense white head and good lacing. Balanced bitterness, finishes dry, some grapefruit and malt. With a medium light body. Kept going back for more

Hops: Amarillo. Malt: 2-row. Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 01.24.14. A: See through gold. 1 finger head. S: Grapefruit. Very citrusy. T: Tangerine dominant. Grapefruit, pine, subtle malt. M: Crisp. Good carbonation. O: This is a tangerine bomb. The first time that I had this, I was surprised by the flavor. It’s now a summer tradition for me.

Pale yellow, massive white head sticks around and sticks to the sides. Lemon bitter and sweet, Something a little musky and tart lurking in the back. Taste starts off with a muted citrus blossom type approach. Personally I’d hope for a slightly juicier aspect to it, though maybe fresher it has more of that. Where the aroma was definitely more lemon citrus, this is more satsuma and orange. Subtle. A definite wallop of bitter though, five, ten years ago I would say this would solidly be an IPA. Smoothe and crisp, carbonation may be a touch high, but overall very drinkable. An enjoyable drink, but doesn’t quite reach the lofty standards set forth for it in my opinion. Fremont can’t make a bad beer.

"Bright, vibrant, surprisingly light, but surprisingly hoppy and full of flavor. The only reason this was not better than their IPA is because the IPA was beyond solid as well. This would be a summer staple if available locally."

Tap at Ballard Beer Company, Seattle. Pours gold with a white head. Light grassy pine aroma. Light body, medium carbonation. Lemon, light honey, pine, sponge cake... Nice piney bitter finish. Easy drinking. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I liked this beer. I went out camping and picked up something that had a sweet looking can with cool colors. It didn't hurt that it was a summer ale. I will purchase beer from Fremont brew co again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Solid and exceptional summer pale. Incredibly flavorful -- digging the malt notes, along with sufficient hops. But for the lack of bitterness, this would totally be an IPA -- and indeed, in some circles, could serve as one. Highly recommended.

12oz can via trade extra. Thanks, man! Pours a hazed dark yellow color with a small white head. Aromas of sharp, spicy hops with a enormous hit of earthiness aroma that I haven’t smelled in a while. Taste is semi sweet, lightly bitter, earthy. Flavors of ganja, dirt weed, tropical fruit. Strange hop profile, even if it’s single hopped. This beer is just weird, but in a good way. Tropical, earthy, minerally. Maybe it’s the water profile. Nice hop expression, minimal malt character which let’s the hops shine through. This is good shit.
