Pours a lightly hazed dirty honey gold with small off white ring of a head. Nose is fairly soft in aromas, yet balanced. Light musty bret with Chardonnay and hints of oak as well as cork. Also get some hints of bubblegum and wheat. Light airy mouthfeel yet with a quenching quality. Subtle Chardonnay fruit quality up front backed by just enough bret to let you know it’s in there. Finishes up with light wheat and hints of pepper and spice all the while with the bright Chardonnay flavor throughout.

Draft @ brewery; board says aged in merlot barrels; pours still and basically flat with a few bubbles along the edge; dull orange in color and mostly clear; oak, stale malt, a little pepper and dry bretty horseblanket; not much merlot to me, but plenty of dry wood and some vanilla; dry and grassy with some stale fruit; texture is dull and flat, which detracts from the overall beer to me; like in a saison spiked with brett that I made, the result is kind of fruit-juicy and the base beer is dulled out
