22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is lots of piney, peppery, resiny hops with a little fruit and biscuit malt.

The flavor is sweet malts and some fruit with a big resiny piney bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice DIPA. Big hops with some sweetness to balance.

Poured from a can into a mason jar style glass on 10.15.14. A: Honey, orange, lemon, and grapefruit. Very complex and hard to pick out flavors. A: 2 1/2 finger head. Crystal clear honey-gold. T: Honey, orange, lemon, and grapefruit dominate. Pineapple on the back end, hop resin, and cracker are subtle. P: Creamy smooth and pretty chewy. O: This was a very complex triple IPA. It blended together very nicely. It wasn’t as drinkable as The Brother (Fremont’s DIPA), but that was probably to be expected. Overall, I thought that The Brother tasted better.
