3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CampesinoTino (613) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Bomber. Pours a light gold and copper color with a half-inch of sudsy head. The IPA-like aroma is predominately earthy, citrusy hops with sweet caramel malt in the background. The taste is light and clean with an emphasis on the cereal malt, sour grapefruit and pine characteristics. The body has strong carbonation and finishes dry and astringently bitter with a slight grainy aftertaste. Overall, a decent PNW Pale Ale for summer drinking.

22. Pours a clear medium amber with golden brown highlights. Loose filmy tannish head knocking around, leaving bits of patchy lace. Nice fruity nose, caramel showing through oranges and pineapples. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, oranges, and pineapple on the mid-palate. Pleasant. Tangy pineapple finish. Nice fresh citric fruity APA. Good stuff.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 15, 2011
Bottle:   Amberish, a little fiery, fairly clear, moderate white head, nice lacing.   Soft hop nose, slightly soily/earthy.   Soft hoppiness up front, a little citrus rind and less earth than on the nose (thankfully).   Pretty soft, yet fairly clean.   Smooth too.   Not an overly hoppy Pale, which is nice for a change.   More sessionable than most.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but it coats the tongue fairly well.   Finish comes quick with this one.   Decent quaffer.

Solid pale beer all around, great hop aroma and not too chewy. The beer looked delicious clinging to the sides as it disappeared into my belly. Probably helped that I paired it with fish and chips literally a block away from the brewery.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 eboats (1081) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 23, 2011
Had on tap at the brewery. Poured clear honey with a white head. Aroma was oranges and lemons. Medium bitterness with a bitter finish.

Universal as in its appeal. Nice example of a classic pale ale. Bready toasted malt backbone with light hop spice, some grassy notes, and an earthy character.

Finally got to try something from Fremont. Had this down at Nectar last night. Nice and easy drinking pale, yet a bit too mellow for my usual tastes...great club beer though!
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 OldMrCrow (1518) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 6, 2009
Tap at the High Life.
Nice amber pour, enjoyable citric hop snap atop something rather like an English Pale malt body. As I work my way through the pint, though, I find it hard to overlook the off-flavors that crackedmachine noted, both metallic elements and a touch of boiled cruciferous vegetables. Nevertheless, quite reasonable pale with enough hop presence to keep from regretting not ordering an IPA..
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 luttonm (1631) - Belgrade, SERBIA - NOV 29, 2009
Archetypally beautiful and tasty. Exactly the pint i’ve been craving for months, a clean, bright, fresh and powerfully balanced pale ale. Nice citrus and pine in great golden amber package. Impressive first pint from the new Fremont Brewery for me, can’t wait for more.
