Can poured into snifter. Med amber color, 1 finger white head, leaves irreg lacing. Hop, citrus aroma. Crisp hint of roasty grains meets citrus and is immediately followed by hop bitterness that dominates the finish. Refreshing NW pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head. Soft citrus, a hint of froot loops. Medium bodied, picks up a touch of sweaty mango armpit stuff, otherwise pretty nice. Gentle bitterness with a touch of grapefruit into the finish.

Bottle from Winco. Not too happy for an APA, lager comes to mind. Grain forward, hazy medium golden body, soft foamy head. Gentle hops on the aroma, malt bill takes over for taste. Medium weight, chewy body. Tasty, drinkable, and not hoppy at all.

On a flight from San Francisco to Seattle (USA), can. Rich gold pour semi clear, tick off-white head pretty stable. Nose: very resinous, pine forest, some citric too. Very nice. Mouth: tangerine, watery, grassy piney. Aroma was more impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On Tap at Prefunk, Boise Clear light golden with a hint of orange. Modest soapy off-white head. Light slightly toasted malts. Rather dry and light. The hop profile seems rather noble. Almost Pilsneresque. Light sharp spiciness at the end and a distinct late cereal biscuity flavor. Interesting, different for a pale.

From the can the pour is strong colored with a hazy backing and a very thin white head the dissipates quickly, the aroma is citrus hops and very crisp aroma, the taste is citrus lightly hopped and a very good balance, the mouthfeel is thin. Overall impression is a solid ale with a good hop balance that is kept in check and not overpowering, a great ale that is not an IPA.

Tap. Pours a clear gold body with a small wispy white head that fell to a thin ring. The nose is fairly bright floral hops with a light crackery and bready malt base. Very fresh and bright. The flavor is bright and bitter with a grapefruit finish, nicely dry pale malt body. Light bodied and very easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Lingering light tropical fruit hops. Really nice sessionable Pale Ale, this is what I want when on the west coast.

Pours a chill hazed golden yellow on tap with fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of resinous citrus hops and sweet bready malts. Taste is more toward the malty side, a hint of oxidation, but still nice and hoppy to balance. Not bad, but nothing special.
