3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4104) - Hardened Liver, USA - APR 15, 2011
Bottle:   Amberish, a little fiery, fairly clear, moderate white head, nice lacing.   Soft hop nose, slightly soily/earthy.   Soft hoppiness up front, a little citrus rind and less earth than on the nose (thankfully).   Pretty soft, yet fairly clean.   Smooth too.   Not an overly hoppy Pale, which is nice for a change.   More sessionable than most.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, but it coats the tongue fairly well.   Finish comes quick with this one.   Decent quaffer.

Golden pour, smallish head. Mild, hop-forward aroma, and a flavor that starts something like a weaker version of their Interurban, with biscuity malts coming to the front toward the finish. Standard.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BARLEYWINEO (106) - Tacoma, USA - APR 28, 2012
A: Poured a nice orangish color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap and some lacing
S: Like a big fruit basket anf flower bouquet rooled up into one with light toasted bread
T: Big citrus and flowers with a light toastiness, juicy, loads of flavor. Very nice and very much a West Coast Pale Ale
M: Medium body, well carbonated, a little bit of slickness
O: Good overall
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 michaelinwa (205) - Bothell, Washington, USA - APR 24, 2012
Fairly standard pale ale. Pours with a medium, disappearing head, low aroma. Nothing particularly stands out here, but I think that’s sort of the style. As pale ales go, it’s pretty decent, but the style seems so mundane now.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 carboloader (577) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 2, 2012
A drinkable pale ale alternative to SNPA. Bready malt with some citrus. Drinkable but far from my favorite in the APA category.

Pours clear gold. Aroma of floral hop, some citrus but mostly malt. Taste is nice, not very bitter at all, lots of biscuity malt and floral hop, some nutty malt. Medium body and carbonation. Not a very bold APA as far as hops go, but very solid and drinkable. A good entry beer for people that say they don’t like IPA’s. More malty than the old stand-by Sierra Pale.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 poisoneddwarf (978) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - JAN 26, 2012
Bomber bought at Super 1 in CDA, ID. This bottle says 5.6% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a thick cream-colored rocky head with excellent retention and cobwebby lace. Aroma is citrusy hops backed by bready malts, neither all that assertive; I also get a bit of grain. Taste is bittersweet and sessionable. Finish is a bit bitter. Carbonation is medium and the body is medium-thin. Mouthfeel is creamy. Overall, a nice APA.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (2178) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 15, 2012
650ml bottle pours a slightly cloudy golden orangeish color with a 2 finger head that left some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasing citrusy hops with some faint cereal grains. Taste is citrusy hops with some fruitiness and a nice malty sweetness balancing this out. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. This is a fine high quality IPA that is highly recommended.
