Bottle courtesy of durhambeer. Pours deep red with a white head. Smells rosey with some sweet malty hints. Tastes of brown sugar with some dark fruit, spicy and earthy.

This was the worst of my sampler. Harsh and piney. Perfumey with a sweet and sour flavor. Some caramel malt with a sticky finish. Maybe I had a bad batch cause I sure don’t agree with the previous ratings.

This is toasted caramel deliciousness. Noble hops mix with earthiness and sour apples. Vibrant red in color with very litle head. Succulent toasted caramel flavor, some green apple, plenty of vibrant Euro hops. A great alt and a terrific quaffer.

Draft sample at KBJ08. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and earthy aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. A good drinkable beer.
