2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. The pour was a lightly cloudy golden yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white rocky head that reduced to a few puddles with a small collar and had some good spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt, grassy hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel and adjuncts.
The taste was a tad bitter and a touch acidic with a hint of caramel early on, and had a moderate adjunct presence and a pronounced bitterness towards the end. The flavor hung around for a little while with the harsh bitterness fading slowly as time elapsed.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry watery texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a brew with an awful lot of bitterness and not much else...

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Beer isn’t as bad as the reviwes indicate. It is not a superb lager mainly because its not what you’re expecting. A golden pour and lighter tasting lager. A citrus grass flavor with a ever so slight metallic hint. Very refreshing on a hot day

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This was an OK lager, just a tad on the sweet side. It smelled like stale bread and tasted like sugary cornmeal. Hmm.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma: grain, hay, metal, light grass, sweet. Taste: hay, dirt, grass, corn, metal. Body: better than I thought it would be. A light amber color with a fizzy white head. Overall: not bad but not much better than your average macro lager.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear, ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a thin, half a centimetre tall white head. Aroma of corn, malt, yeast, light lemons and not much else, perhaps some cardboard. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic notes and hardly any malt to speak of with a little citrus, some cardboard, a bunch of rice and not much else. Aftertaste is mild, which is kind of a good thing, with water the main thing sticking out, with a bit of metal and some alcohol noticeable. Overall, a pretty poor beer, and I wasn’t expecting anything good, but this tastes like water with some rice and metal added - nothing too pleasant here. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Miami Beach, Florida on 18-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 11-October-2012.

Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium balancecd aroma. Light to medium body with a thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Soft beer.

Not good. Clean look and pour, but very little flavor. Couldn’t finish this one. Got from total wine

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Liz. Pours pale gold with a slight white head. Aroma is bready with some herby hop. Med body. Flavor is clean, bready and has some spicy saaz hop. Finishes mildly bitter. No gumminess. Better than many pale lagers.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden pour w/ a foamy white head that lingers and leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of lemon, malt, grain, slight pilsner notes. Crisp carbonation w/ lt to med body and some dryness to the finish. Sweet pale malts, slight lemon/citrus fruit, hop bitterness kicks in a bit in the middle. A good refreshing lager. Nothing special, but would quench my thirst on a hot day.
