5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
It is one of my favourite beers. Yesterday i visited brewery in Chios and met with kind owner Iakovios. Thanks to him for his great hospitality. The beer he served direct from was an unforgattable taste.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle. BB 13/05/2015. At the Athens Beer, Athens, Greece.
Slightly cloudy reddish golden colour with a small white head.
Floral hops, mild bitterness and sweetness in the aroma. Not bad. The flavour is mild floral hops, mild notes of bitterness and some sweetish malt in the background. Harmless is a bit underrating but that's what it is...

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 18, 2016 Rated on April 18th 2016:
(33 cl bottle from greekbeershop.gr thanks to Paras; L0205; BBD: June 15th 2016) Poured into a stemmed wine glass at fridge temperature reveals a hazy golden body with one finger of white head that subsides leaving film. Aroma has notes of pilsener malt, sprucy hops and hints of dust and grass. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium to light body and a lingering finish. Flavour is well balanced with upfront sweetness followed by bittering hops. Still well composed and executed.

(33 cl bottle courtesy of Tsekouratos; L1406202; Bbd: October 29th 2014) Pours a mostly clear amber with thin, white head that fades quickly leaving lace. Aroma is piney, herbal, honey with hints of dust. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body and a balanced finish leaning on the bitter side. Flavours has a more well-defined sprucy, earthy bitterness. I like how this beer has a harmonic and well-defined expression that is drinkable yet not afraid to step aside from the mainstream.
