Bottle(100cl): Golden coloured, clear, creamy, persistent lacy white, bisquits, sweet pale malt and bittering hops in the nose, sorrounded by some waves of alcohol; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering, almost aromatic-hoppy finish, backed by sweet pale malt and bisquits. (100cl swing top bottle, purchased at the brewpub) Almost clear, golden colour with a massive foamy white head. Moderately sweet malty and bready aroma with light herbal hoppy notes. Well-balanced sweetness–bitterness ratio, medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Bready malty taste with light herbal notes in the background; sweet and slightly bitter malt-accented finish with delicate herbal hoppy notes. Not overly spectacular but well-rounded pale Bock (12.12.07).
