Cloudy orange-tan. Deep dry-hopped saphir nose with yeasty undertones. Sweet, perfumey start. Lots of body. Wheaty, tart and dry finish. Saphir dry hop flourish at the end.

Milder hopfenbetonter Antrunk, zu viel CO2. Der Hopfen kommt dagegen nur wenig an und offenbart sich erst im Abgang vollkommen. Angenehm aber ebenfalls nut leicht hefig, alles in allem aber stimmig, lediglich, wie bereits erwähnt, die Starke Karbonisierung stört. Im Abgang vollmundig hopfig, dennoch ist die Spitze noch nciht erreicht, der Hopfen hält sich merklich zurück. Ausgewogenes und interessantes Weizen, in dem der Saphir nicht genug Platz hat, um sich auszubreiten. 10/10/11/12//10

From tap at the brewpub. It’s unclear, warm golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of yeast, wheat and banana. The flavour is sweet with notes of slightly spicy yeast, wheat, fruit – mostly banana, and the finish is spicy.

Draft @ Friedel keller, Kreutzberg. Is one shade lighter than the normal weisse. Is hazy orange, with bright and lasting white head. Aroma is safir flowers, lovely. Palate is smooth. Flavors don’t quite match up to the aromas and is thinner than expected but still deliver perfume and flowers.
