Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.

Clear dark brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark caramel, light roasted and smoke. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, dark malt, smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110504]

Bottled. A hazy deep nut-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and nuts, leading to a dry nutty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown, hazy and with a small reddish glare and a small tan head. Aroma is dark malty and caramelish. Vague smoked and breadish malt flavoured. Light sweetness and good counterbalance with the bitterness. Smoked and roasted malt finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Comes as: "Brauhaus am Kreuzberg Schlotfegerla". Pours a clear dark orangey brown with a frothy and dense beige head. Smoky nose with some roasted malts and chocolate. Medium body, roasted malts and a whiff of smoke. Dry and somewhat bitter finish. 010510

Bottled. Deep slightly hazy red/orange/brown colour with a big creamy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is smoked wet wood, some sweet malts as well as some ashy notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some smoked wet wood, mild sweet malts as well as mild chocolaty notes.

Draught at Friedel-Keller, Kreuzberg. (brewed at the new brewery at the keller) Dark nut brown small head. Nutty and tarry. Dryish and dense, roasty with licorice and tarry smoke. Light-medium bodied with some saltiness. A bit clean.

Bottle at Paln B. Hazy red brown coloured with a medium sized beige ehad. Fruity aroma of caramel, berries and hops with notes of bread. Malty flavour of malts, caramel, bread and hops. Hoppy finish.

Draught @ Friedel Keller, Kreuzberg. Pours unclear amber with a creamy white head and lacings. A bit of roast, caramel, grain and smoked meat. Clean. Medium bodied. Great smoked Schwarzbier.

(500ml flip-top bottle, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisins, toasted grain, subtle smoke, and caramel. Flavor of raisins, caramel, and light smoke.

Bottle at Plan B. Clear Brown - offwhite head. White head, sweetness, light smiley, light roasted, light thin body.
