On tap at the Friedel’s Keller on the Kreuzberg: Dark amber coloured, small off-white layer; sweet-malty aroma, roastiness and some hidden fruity, vinous notes, too; sweetish, bitter (toasted) flavour; bitter, sweet, fruity, caramelly, toasted finish. Quite dry and bitter for a Doppelbock, well quaffable !

Impressions in the shade of the keller:
-Candied berries and wet earth show affection in the aroma.
-A perfect, luxurious body lathers the palate, the tongue’s going wild.
-A ring of head subsists atop the dark brown with orange sleeves.
-Roastiness and caramel are but a few sides of the complex maltiness.
-A classic doppelbock which pushes all the right buttons.
