(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet and yeasty wheaty aroma with nutty and shy toasty notes, banana and a touch of cloves. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty and banana-fruity taste with a very discreet roast-character; medium-dry sweet and slightly bitter finish with mildly nutty and toasty notes in the aftertaste. Finally a likeable brew. 24.XI.10

It floods out of the bottle upon opening. The color is unclear, dark mahogany and the head is a bit big-bubbly, but lasting. The aroma has note og light yeast, caramel, banana and wheat, and so does the sweet flavour. The finish is slightly dry and spicy. All things considering, it’s a nice dunkles weizen.

Zwar bildet sich eine imposante Schaumkrone, sie bildet sich aber schnell zurück. Antrunk und Abgang sind leicht säuerlich, jedoch in akzeptablem Maße. Im Mittelteil ist es leicht malzig, frisch und leicht hefig. Kein Knaller das Bier, mittelmaß. Test vom 17.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,10,10,12,10 - 10,00

10.03.2011. 0,5l Bottle. From landbierdealer.de. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Wheaty aroma with maltsweetness and notes of banana. Its not very hazy but its not clear either. Very nice wheat flavours. Lasting bitter aftertaste. This is a very good beer.

Bottle: Murky brown, stable off-white head with the illusion of freshly-sprinkled cacao-powder on it; distinctive sweet-fruity and chocolatey nose with a delicate yeasty touch, increasing nutty flavours, when the beer gets warmer; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; short sourish-yeasty finish with a delicate dark-malty touch. Great aroma, average taste.....

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy nut brown color, small off-white head. Fruity, chocolaty aroma. Bready, a bit caramelly, toasted sugary flavor. Body is somewhat simple. Plain dunkle weizen.

0.5 l bottle, thanks TBone! Hazy reddish brown color. Bready and wheaty aroma with clove and pepper. Bready, clovey, peppery and slightly chocolatey flavor with hint of raisins. Somewhat flat.

Bottle. Banana and chocolate toffee malt aroma. Cloudy dark brown color with giant head. Sweet toffee malt and banana/orange flavor. Light clove finish. Overall, above average and nicely drinkable.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of wheat and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, caramel, and some citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish.
