Clear light to medium brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toffee, butter, moderate caramel, light notes of brown sugar. Flavor is moderate candy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090712]

Bottled. A nut-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of nuts, metal, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, metal, caramel, malt, and bread, leading to a dry bready finish.

Bottle from landbierparadies at Jason’s new apartment in Schlitz. Fairly clear, reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. A bit nutty, fairly skunky, off grassy, a bit buttery aroma. Caramel, toasty malty, light cocoa, a bit buttery, nutty flavor.

Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly roasted taste with dark bread; sweet-bitter, slightly metallic finish. Quite average Dunkel.
