Amber color. Sweetish, malty flavor with cola, some licorice and peach. Too onedimensional to be a prize winner.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

50cl bottle from The Doemens stash. Somehow I wrote down "burnt trunf" in my notes. I hate that old gothic German font. Anyway, this dunkel landbier pours an attractive red-brown color with a stable beige head. Toasty malty aroma with a bit of toffee and light underlying diacetyl. Very full flavor with rich malt, moderate fruitiness, and just a hint of diacetyl rounding things out. A very interesting landbier with a lot of character, even if it’s not one I would choose to session.
