COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Eclipse!" is designed in the style of an Indian Pale Ale (IPA) which means it is slightly darker and rounder than the Premium Lager, but also significantly more bitter. The bitterness can be clearly separated in 3 different stages. It is out first beer that we made 'exclusively' from NZ ingredients (the malt is coming from a small malting company in Christchurch).

Flagon from the brew pub, pours a clear amber with a filmy head. Aroma has a hoppy kick on a caramal base. The palate is just moderately hoppy with some light fruity flavours. The best of the bunch on my visit to the brew pub. I would suggest they make this a regular.
