COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most popular is the PREMIUM LAGER. It is made in the classic bohemian way of the Lager tradition and has elegant hop flavours. The colour is light golden (but of course darker than normal Lager in NZ, as it is made outoff 100 % Malt, like all of our beers). It is very important for us that this beer is very more-ish, which means that you as a customer are will enjoy the last sip as much as you did the first.

On tap at Brauhaus Frings brewpub. Rich gold hue, thin white fine bubbly slowly diminishing head, some lacing. Nice moderate to strong malt aroma with a hint of passion-fruit, honey, smoke, Weetbix. Tastes light sweet, moderately bitter, noticeably sour and with faint salinity with a short duration which I guess makes it more-ish. Very soft carbonation, thin oily texture, dry astringent finish. Very different to any other lager I have had - mostly in a good way. Unusual taste but in a likeable way I suppose.

Draught at the brew pub, a lively pour, a slight haze to the golden appearance with only a filmy head. A fruity aroma - peaches for me. A sweet malty palate, again very fruity. A bit of a non-decript mouthfeel. A lager with a bit more.

(On tap) Clear golden with a white head. Fresh and floral hop aroma. Medium in body with a good, clean malt base. There’s a light underlying acidity, not infected sour though. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. Refreshing. 090208

Nice clear gold straw colour, no bubbles, big wjite head, disipated quickly. Malty nose. Flte tatsting malt/wheat flavour.
