Pours semi transparent golden orange with a thick white head. Nose is very nice funk from the sach, lemon citrus, vinegar, biscuit and hay. The taste is sweet with a nice tart/bitter balance. Outstanding. The mouthfeel is crisp at first then coats the pallet after. The body is medium and the finish is long. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with huge, frothy to creamy, lasting, lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of grapefruit, lime; funky, yeasty touch resembles a poor copy of brett aroma. Taste has a resinous, caramel malty basis, a touch of icing sugar, some grapefruit, citrus, slightly biting bitter hop with a minimal grassy touch.

Festival der Bierkulturen, Köln - Zitrusartiger Duft. Beginnt stark zitrusbehaftet (Grapefruit). Mittig dann gewürzig-hefig. Malzwürziger, zitroniger Abgang; trocken bitter. Interessante Kombination - ausbaufähig.

33 cl bottle @ lusikka, BBE 04/2013
Aroma is rather nice with hops, exotic fruits and some gooseberry bush. Flavour is dry and bitter with gooseberry bush and some fruits. Also some sourness with earthy notes making this a Belgian IPA. A bit empty feeling behind all the hops – I think this needs more backbone. The bitterness in the finish is a bit harsh and stale.

Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG-12. A murky, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, two-finger, off-white head. Some lacings. Rather hopped nose, citrus peel, pine cones and some peach, white sugar and Belgo style yeast. A bit too much on the yeasty side maybe. Rather bitter in the mouth, some metallic hints in the far back, with white sugar, pine cones, resins and a touch of Belgian yeast. Or maybe it’s rather a touch of brett playing. Full body, quite effervescent. Bitter finish.120818
