Draught at Tap House Munich. Dark amber, hazy body, with medium creamy, frothy white head. Aroma of passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, red berries, grass, sweet malt. Taste with about the same aromas and a nice caramelic and bready malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, slick with medium carbonation and it finishes medium bitter, slightly dry, with lemon zest, grass and bready malt. Tasty! Greatly balanced, refreshing and nice hop profile.

bottle from Bierzerg. Cloudy amber colour with a stable off-white head. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with loads of tropcial fruit, also some resiny hops that add a spicy touch.

Many thanks to a trade with bierkoning. Appearance: cloudy amber, lovely thick white head. Aroma: catty, lovely pine notes, slight strawberry, mango, refreshing. Flavour: milder than the aroma, pine, a little lemon and strawberry, medium length bitterness.

Flesje uit düsseldorf, oranje-amber met een flinke vaste kraag, die plakt aan de rand van het glas. Ruikt heel goed, tropisch fruit, ananas, mango, grapefruit. Smaakt ook zo en is behoorlijk bitter. Redelijk wat body. Goede bitterfruitige nasmaak. Sehr gut!

33cl bottles from brewer, bierpost, over time. Sampled this over a longer period and imagine the recipe can have changed. Consistent features are: biscuit malts and lasting tangerine peel and pine bitterness create an upfront aromatic illusion of IPA-ishness, but the dry and somewhat aggressive yeast profile, watery and fast collapsing body (esp. after a few weeks of storage) make this harder to stomache - noticed this about quite a few German IPA’s so far...

Bottle, 33 cl. Hazy amber with a medium sized, frothy off white head, ok lacings. Smooth, slightly subdued but delicate hoppy and malty notes of pine, tropical juice, caramel. Flavor is more powerful with faint berry accents as well as pine, zesty fruits and caramel. Medium sweet and smoothly bitter. Medium body and light oily texture. Ok.

Bottle. Hazy orange, low offwhite head. Nice round hop flavor on a fullbodied, caramel cookie base. Wellcrafted IPA.
