4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 quiri (10) - GERMANY - MAY 27, 2012
Bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. In my opinion: One of the best IPA-style beers in Germany at the time. I smell a lot of american hops - aroma of grapefruit and mango. Bitter, but not too much. Flavorful, but not too much. I want more...
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 kjc51478 (308) - Cologne, GERMANY - MAY 14, 2012
200ml Sample at Bierkultur Festival in Köln-Ehrenfeld. Appearance is opaque, orangish-amber color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is intense with bitter grapefruit and orange peel as well as bready malts and caramel. Taste is similar with the grapefruit bite prevailing, along with mango, bread maltiness, and pine. Palate is medium-bodied, very smooth, average carbonation, and a long, dry finish.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 stobbe74 (3163) - DENMARK - MAY 6, 2012
Pours a hazy and dark amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma malt, caramel and hops with citrus and grapefruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall this is a good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Christian (8548) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2012
Hazy amber with a big white head. Fruity aroma with orange and peach and quite a bit of yeast. Sweetish fruity flavour with a mineral note, some bready malt, and a decent bitterness
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 turbothy (967) - Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2012
Pours reddish golden with minimal head. Sweet, fruity hop aroma - very powerful hop flavour. Without a doubt the most hoppy and bitter German beer I’ve tried - and it’s good. Some yeasty dregs left and a bit of a funky aftertaste are the only drawbacks here.
2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2012
750 ML Bottle from Holy with much thanks. Nice huge off white head with a hazy orange color. Smell hops, citrus, Pine Sol and some soap. A nice smelling beer but this is where the fun stops for me since I really don;t like IPA’s at all. Taste is a watery Pine Sol cleaner and lots of hops, bitter, bitter and more bitter. Pine hoppy bitter aftertaste that lingers. A well made beer but for me like most IPA’s nearly undrinkable.

Bottle at Home. Hazy golden orange color, with a nice rich white head that lasts. Strong grassy and citrus hoppy aroma. Nice. Flavour is flowery and very fruity. Excellent bitter and dry finish. I really enjoyed this one and a great variation of your typical german beers. Keep up the great work Fritz !!
