small ivory white head. amber coloured hazy. smells light metallic, hoppy, mango, passion fruit. tastes of malt, mango, rather sweet with a light bitter aftertaste. medium body and carbonation. bottle 33 cl

Thin standard head and copper in color, musty in aroma. Malts and hops collide and overwhelms the palate in an off putting way. Drinkable but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle from Berlin Beer shop. Grapefruity mango, nothing too intense. Same with bitterness, good bitterness but not too hard. Not too intense. Pretty drinkable IPA.

Hazy amber. Small layer of bubbles. No lacing. Grapefruit and flowers. Bitter taste of the same. Some malty sweetness. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(33 cl bottle from WeinKultur Moabit; This is 15,4 P with Pilsner-, Münchner-, Karamellmaltz, Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade 45 IBU and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Brewed at Vormann Brauerei. BBD: September 30th 2013) Pours a semi-clear amber with plenty of carbonation and rich, two-finger white head that laces the glass and stays around. Aroma is fresh, herbal hoppy with simcoe pine notes sticking through. Oily texture, medium body perhaps a bit on the light side with a very sessionable balance of gentle upfront bitterness quickly played down by an equally gentle, neutralising sweetness. Taste has even more Simcoe and the citrus notes of the Cascade and Amarillo present a nicely complementary background. This will certainly be good inspiration for when I want to make my own Simcoe/fruity hop-brew. This is a good candidate for the best German IPA right now.

from bottle. pours a deep amber colour with a small frothy head that quickly disappears. wonderful and intense aroma of red berries, tropical fruits and citrus. best IPA aroma I have ever experienced so far. medium body, fizzy carbonation and thin texture. mainly pink grapefruit and citrus flavours, some pine notes in the background. long lasting bitter and dry aftertaste. a refreshing and fantastically balanced IPA from Fritz!

UPDATED: APR 19, 2013 Bottle from Berlin Bier shop, 5.8% though. Deep orange with a medium head. Aroma of grapefruit. Flavour is sharp bitter, sweet leading to a lingering bitter palate.

Bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. In my opinion: One of the best IPA-style beers in Germany at the time. I smell a lot of american hops - aroma of grapefruit and mango. Bitter, but not too much. Flavorful, but not too much. I want more...

200ml Sample at Bierkultur Festival in Köln-Ehrenfeld. Appearance is opaque, orangish-amber color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is intense with bitter grapefruit and orange peel as well as bready malts and caramel. Taste is similar with the grapefruit bite prevailing, along with mango, bread maltiness, and pine. Palate is medium-bodied, very smooth, average carbonation, and a long, dry finish.

Pours a hazy and dark amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma malt, caramel and hops with citrus and grapefruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall this is a good beer.
