Pours reddish golden with minimal head. Sweet, fruity hop aroma - very powerful hop flavour. Without a doubt the most hoppy and bitter German beer I’ve tried - and it’s good. Some yeasty dregs left and a bit of a funky aftertaste are the only drawbacks here.

Bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. In my opinion: One of the best IPA-style beers in Germany at the time. I smell a lot of american hops - aroma of grapefruit and mango. Bitter, but not too much. Flavorful, but not too much. I want more...

from bottle. pours a deep amber colour with a small frothy head that quickly disappears. wonderful and intense aroma of red berries, tropical fruits and citrus. best IPA aroma I have ever experienced so far. medium body, fizzy carbonation and thin texture. mainly pink grapefruit and citrus flavours, some pine notes in the background. long lasting bitter and dry aftertaste. a refreshing and fantastically balanced IPA from Fritz!

330ml bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. Presents a pineforest freshness in the aroma; in the taste, lots of hoppy, fruity flavour from those 5 great hops that really enrich the glass before a bracing bitterness on the finish. A great beer.

200ml Sample at Bierkultur Festival in Köln-Ehrenfeld. Appearance is opaque, orangish-amber color with lots of foamy, off-white head. Aroma is intense with bitter grapefruit and orange peel as well as bready malts and caramel. Taste is similar with the grapefruit bite prevailing, along with mango, bread maltiness, and pine. Palate is medium-bodied, very smooth, average carbonation, and a long, dry finish.

Amber coloured, full, slightly tanned head which remained very stable. at first very clear, later a bit hazy. The smell was very fruity (citurs, mango, strawberries) with hints of sweetness and honey. Strong bitterness but fruity-resiny with a hoppy aftertaste. Medium carbonation and full body.

33cl bottle pours with a copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a white head. The aroma offers up juicy citrus and mango as well as some malt sweetness. Nice. The taste begins with juicy citrus and mango like hops where the citrus seems grapefruit and tangerine like and then it quickly picks up more and more resiny hop bitterness to midway and then into the finish. Under the fruity hops is a layer of floral. The resiny hops have a pine bitterness to them that help create a pleasing balance with the sweeter juicy flavor hops and sweet malts. This is a darn nice IPA.

Thanks to Countbeer for sharing. Slightly hazy dark orange color, decent white head. Love the smell: bitter, hops, pine, fruits and grapefruit. Taste so much grapefruits, pine and bitter. Bit weak though, bit low carbo and body.

Bottle: Nice vast off white head on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, grape and soap. Taste is a bit of a watery but nicely balanced mix of hops, fruit, citrus, grape, pine, bitter, herbs and grass. Herby hoppy bitter aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel, low carbo, medium to fuller body and the watery texture in the beginning turns more to a creamy one in the end. Good beer.
