Clear medium amber orange color with a small, frothy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, nutty notes, light to moderate hoppy, soft orange - citrus - grapefruit, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty, caramel, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101130]

Lightly fizzy with a whiffy white to tan head. Bronze/copper in colour, rather clear. Hay, a bit floral and strangely hoppy. Light bitter and sour. Had traces of sweetness developping. Has a rather light body, thin texture and a bit astringent.

Cask Handpump at the Station Buffet, Stalybridge 13/03/2010 Floral aroma. Small white head. Amber golden coloured fruity and a little hoppy with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a malt finish.
