3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Onslow (712) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - FEB 21, 2012
Pour from a 22 oz bottle, purchased at Salute! Slightly hazy orange / amber brew with 3 thringers of light and persistent head. Very active carbonation. Aroma - dominated by pine, citrus, a little caramel and spice. Tste is light malts, caramel, a moderate floral hops finish and nice bitter end, but with a little caramel sweet eeking though as the final after taste. Palate manages to be both thin and sticky. A serviceable IPA but does not stand out and is also not all that tasty. ..

Sampled at an esbls tasting. I bought this in Michigan. The pour is hazy golden with a soft fruit in the nose. The flavor is of sulfur hops and is mildly bitter and fruity. Some crackers. There is some light caramel and this is a bit sweet but manages to be dry, too. Not a great IPA but not bad, either.
