A Mes rate. Cask handpull from the Market Porter.
Clean dark amber with a thin off white head. Slightly medicinal aroma with some fairly harsh alcohol and unbrewed malt. Very fruity but a little harsh. More unbrewed malt, a little caramel and not much else other than a faint bitterness in the finish. I’ve had much better from this brewer.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Another of these over hopped, or bitter/mild hybrids, need i say much more.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2010 Cask conditioned handpump Coach & Horses, Wellingborough. A dark dark brown coloured beer with an off white head. The aroma has some slight roast and a little fruitiness. Very mild in the mouth with a little fruit again.Score 3.1
