COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A 4.2% copper-coloured beer with an aroma of roasted malt and a hint of passion fruit. The use of English Marris Otter pale malt, crystal malt and wheat malt produces a full-bodied, malty flavour which is enhanced by the citrus notes of American Cascade hops. The bitterness of English Target hops fades with the maltiness to result in a dry, nutty finish.

Cask at Bedford BF ’06. Amber beer with a hoppy aroma. Quite a nice fruity-smokey taste, though not much bitterness.

Cask at Thurrock Beer Festival 2011, Grays, England.
Clear copper colour with tiny white head. Dark dry hops and malty woody in aroma. Dry dark hoppy bitterness in flavour. Long-lasting bitterness in aftertaste. Not that interesting.

Cask at GBBF, day 3 on 3 August 2006. Amber colour tending towards copper. Some citric, slightly resinous hop accents (I now see it uses Cascade) in the flavour. The hops are less prominent in the aroma. Decent enough. The hops are fine, just used rather too sparingly.

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 19 May 2010) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, earthy hops and hints of sulphur. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, a solid malt foundation and lots of earthy hops in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Tasty and very well balanced bitter.

Cask - The Murderers, Norwich. Pours a clear, dark amber with a thin and loose white head. Red fruits, citrus and some floral notes on the nose. Caramel, vinuous flavours: berry and sharp fruits with delicate hints of alcohol. Medium body, average length finish. Oddly different.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is very lightly flowery, while the flavor is sweet malty with light notes of citrus, leading to a dry toffee finish.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2010 Cask conditioned - handpump - Coach and Horses Wellingboro. A cooper coloured beer with a creamy white head. The aroma is hoppy and fruity and is quite pleasing. The taste is also hoppy and bitter. Obvious cascade but not particularly well balanced with the rest of the beer and starts to taste harsh. Sharp.Score 3.2
