Bottle. Dark brown with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, malt , and hint of coffee. Sweetish taste to start then some coffee bitterness followed by hints of chocolate in the finish. Quite watery mouthfeel. It is ok.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, light smoke. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty, roasted, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140315]

Bottle @ The Lets do a Chris O tasting. Pours brown, the nose is sweet at first then you get a big dollop of herbs and tea. Slight chocolate on the taste with more tea, i just do not get on with tea tasting beers

(Bottle) Clear dark ruby with good tan head. Subtle aroma of dark toffee. Pleasant soft palate with bright and velvety carbonation. Great taste has a backbone of toffee and dark malty sweetness with some nice dark chocolate bitterness for balance. A good beer and very easy to drink.

Bottle.Black with a small head. Malty with a medium body and a welcomung aroma, Lots of body considering its strength. Quite impressive.
